How does mobile device access to encrypted emails work? Can the user stay in the iPhone/android mail app or can they only send/view encrypted emails through the Secure Messaging mobile app?

Mobile users can send and receive secure messages via our Secure Messaging apps for Android, iOS, and Windows phone. Integration through the native email clients is done through integration with our crypto-gateway and content is encrypted/decrypted at the server level. In other words, the message gets encrypted when leaving the mail server on the way outbound either through DLP policies or simply by adding #secure in the subject line.

Using the Secure Messaging Outlook add-in seems to slow Outlook performance

Please note that, although it is extremely lightweight and fast, in order to completely ensure the security of all messages and their attachments, the Secure Messaging Outlook add-in may add a small amount of processing time onto sending messages. The additional delay should be negligible. If you are experiencing serious performance delays while using Outlook with the Secure Messaging add-in installed, there may be other issues going on. If so, please contact your admin or Secure Messaging support.

Is Secure Messaging compatible with Blackberry devices using GOOD MDM?

Secure Messaging’s mobile experience is driven by our native Secure Messaging app, which allows users to connect to our server and compose, read, and respond to content sent via Secure Messaging. You can also receive real-time notifications when messages have been read or actioned. Your administrator will have the ability to remotely disable user access, and since there are no secure messages stored on the device itself this allows you to control mobile access to Secure Messaging. Complete answer?

Is there an app for Lotus Notes?

There is currently no app for Lotus Notes. A solution to send secure messages in Lotus is to set the word SECURE as a DLP trigger to route messages through Secure Messaging’s crypto-relay function. Senders would then just need to include #SECURE in the body of the email.
