Windows Large Fonts

The Toolbar currently does not support large fonts in Windows®. In order to change fonts back to normal, please follow these steps:

In Windows 10:

  1. Go to Start > Control Panel.
  2. If the top right of the Control Panel says ‘View by: Category’, click ‘Appearance and Personalization’. Then, under the heading ‘Display’, select ‘Make text and other items larger or smaller’.
  3. If the top right of the Control Panel says ‘View by: Larger Icons’ or ‘Small Icons’, click ‘Display’.
  4. In the top paragraph, click “set a custom scaling level”.
  5. Set the scaling level to 100%.

Note: You will need to log off of your user account in Windows for the changes to take effect.

In Windows 7/8:

  1. Go to Start > Control Panel.
  2. If the top right of the Control Panel says ‘View by: Category’, click ‘Appearance and Personalization’. Then, under the heading ‘Display’, select ‘Make text and other items larger or smaller’.
  3. If the top right of the Control Panel says ‘View by: Larger Icons’ or ‘Small Icons’, click ‘Display’.
  4. Choose ‘Smaller – 100% (default)’ for the font size, then click ‘Apply’.

Note: You will need to log off of your user account in Windows for the changes to take effect.

In Windows Vista:

  1. Right click on an empty area on your Desktop, and select ‘Personalize’.
  2. At the left hand side, select ‘Adjust font size (DPI)’.
  3. Choose ‘Default Scale (96 DPI)’ and click OK.

Note: You will need to restart your PC for the changes to take effect.

In Windows XP:

  1. Right click on an empty area on your Desktop, and select ‘Properties’.
  2. Click the ‘Appearance’ tab.
  3. Under ‘Font Size’ at the bottom of the dialog, select ‘Normal’, and click Apply.
